It is fairly easy to make as well. The main ingredient is treacle, and lots of it. You literally need to put all the ingredients together. Mix them in a bowl, and put it in the oven to bake for around 30 minutes at 180. A lot of people also like to steam it as well, but it is up to you which method you use. Baking it is probably going to be easier if you want it to be cooked quicker and have that extra sticky taste to it. Just be really careful not to overheat and cook it. It will only ruin the dish. You really do want to be careful of not putting too little, or too much into your mixture. Too little and the oats won’t bind. Too much as you’re just asking to have your mouth glued together. All you need to do is melt down some butter with brown sugar, wait for it to go a bit gooey, then add in your oats. Mix together well, adding in the syrup as you go. Before you know it it is ready to bake! It takes around 20 minutes to cook at around 180 again. It is perfect for your little ones as well. Despite all the sugar and syrup, the oats do give it a tiny bit of a health benefit.
